It is time for the National team of Germany! HMBIA News had a conversation with William Tidwell- captain of the National team of Germany and he told us a lot about his team and his expectations of their participation in HMB Word Championship “Battle of the Nations” – 2017. As we knew, Germany will take part in almost all categories.

William Tidwell: “Germany is fielding a small team this year. We will field one “5vs5″ Team, all 3 Male duel categories, female “Longsword”, “Sword and Buckler” and “21vs21″ team in coalition with the Netherlands, China, Switzerland and Portugal. The fighters are prepared and highly motivated. We expect to perform to the best of our ability”.

This year’s “Battle of the Nations” is not the first for Mr. Tidwell, he has been the team’s captain for 3 years, but we are sure that it will not be less exiting.

William Tidwell: “This will be my 4th Championships and I am Captain since 2015. It is an honor to be able to represent my country, to lead the team onto the list and to have their confidence. Organization of the team and the journey is a heavy burden. This year’s Co-Captain Michael Tegge organized the duel qualifications and recruited and organized the members for the 21 male team”.

HMBIA wishes the Germany’s team many tough fights and a lot of expressions. We will watch their fights with a big interest. Can’t wait to see them on the list of “Battle of the Nations” -2017.
