On the 20-th of January, the official regional tournament of 1 league “5 vs 5″ HMB Russia in Moscow took place. The tournament has been included to The Buhurt League system, which means that it will be held according to the standards and rules of historical medieval battles, which are common for all countries. The tournament was attended by 9 teams – this is about 70 fighters.
As Artem Vasiliev, the member of the orgcommittee of the tournament told HMBIA News, the event was held at the proper level. There were 4 marshals and 1 Knight marshal at the tournament.
Ilia Shour, the HMBIA Knight marshal:
“Teams who won the tournament are well known – “Partizan 2″ and “Bayard” are very active in training, they always fight to the end, the level of individual fighters and team work is growing with each tournament. The “PLK” team from St.- Petersburg was out of the credit, but was the favorite of the tournament from the very beginning, the other fives were not newcomers, and all the fights were tough”.
According to Ilia Shour, there were few violations, the fighters behaved fairly correctly. It was difficult to judge because of the size of the list – it was cramped, so there were only two marshals worked in the field, instead of three, and they had to maneuver a lot to avoid collision with the fighters and random strikes.
The organizers prepared prizes for the winners, but the main prize for any fighter is to join the National team. And who will enter the team will be revealed on the 23th-24th of February at the festival “Recon” in St. Petersburg.
Also the organizing committee of the tournament thank all those involved in the event.
