The best Siberian fighters will cross swords at the “Siberian foothold” tournament

The regional HMB tournament of the 1st league called “Siberian foothold” will take place on the 13th of January, 2018 in Novosibirsk (Russia). The tournament has been included to The Buhurt League system, which means that it will be held according to the standards and rules of historical medieval battles, which are common for all countries.

A geography of The Buhurt League is actively expanding, and more clubs, teams and tournaments are striving to become a part of it. Very soon there will be other tournaments under The Buhurt League brand in Russia and the “Siberian foothold” will become a part of it.

So, in January 2018 the strongest teams from Siberian region will cross swords, competing for the honor to represent Siberia in qualifying events for forming the National team of Russia for the World Championship in HMB “Battle of the Nations”. The fights will be held in a male Buhurt category “5 vs 5”.

Sergey Vasiliev, an organizer of the tournament, says: “Our goal is to hold qualifying fights on the highest level and popularize the HMB movement. Out event has become a part of The Buhurt League, and it is an honor for us”.

This time, fighters have to work harder, because, for the first time, Sergey Bogonenko, a leader of the HMB Russia Marshal’s committee, will judge the Siberian event. There is one more pleasant surprise among all the others: Alexey Nayderov – a distinguished fighter – is going to visit the event.

The tournament will be held as a part of a medieval festival, and guests will be able to enjoy different workshops, a medieval market and interactive exhibitions.
