“This was a truly significant event for the entire Ukrainian reconstruction movement”-
Artem Beregovyi, the combat captain of the Taurus UA team and the team Ukraine 2 for buhurts at the HMB World Championship Battle of the Nations 2019 recalls his first Battle of the Nations.
In 2015, the Battle of the Nations became part of life of the current head of the Communication Committee Esther Veldstra from the Netherlands:
“I had no idea what I was getting into. It was amazing and terrifying and exhilarating and overwhelming. I should never have jumped in like that. It was madness. Best decision I ever made!” she recalls.
The HMB World Championship of the 2019 was the first in the life of Kyrguz fighter Bogdan Sbitnev, who was the representative of his country, but plans to bring a full-fledged national team to the Battle of the Nations in the coming years:
“There are a lot of things to think about after the Championship. I could not believe that it happened to me, that it was already over, that I was there …. Nevertheless, I believe that if you are here – you have already won! ”
And a countless number of memories – funny and sad stories can tell any HMB fighter who at least once took part in the Battle of the Nations. In the planned series of articles and online streams, fighters, marshals, and organizers are sharing their memories.
