Sergey Ukolov about the “21 vs 21″ category
A unique event occurred at the World Championship in HMB “Battle of the Nations”-2018! Sergey Ukolov, one of the most titled HMB athletes in the world, entered the lists in the buhurt category “21 vs 21″ as a member of the Russian team. Such an event could not be overlooked, because Sergey usually represents his country in duels.
According to Ukolov, he was invited to participate in the buhurt by a leadership of the National Team, and he had an important and responsible mission – to defend the backs of the Russians from the blows of those who could break through the array of Russian fighters. Sergey coped with this task and told us the difference between the victory in duels and buhurt:
“The main goal was to win the National Team of Ukraine, and, of course, there are much more people who want to share the taste of victory with you. I liked to fight in the buhurt and ready to do it again!”
Sergey also took part in the duels and, according to him, there were no problems on this matter due to a convenient schedule. He managed both to rest and fight.
Thus, according to the results of the tournament, Ukolov added several medals to his “coin box”: “gold” in duels, “5 vs 5″ and “21 vs 21″ categories. Today Sergey Ukolov is a 5-time world champion in duels, a champion in the “5 vs 5″ buhurts and the “21 vs 21″ category.
Additionally, Sergey noted that the participation in buhurts at the World Championship in HMB “Battle of the Nations” is not only experience and pleasure, but also a new impetus to the development of his club.
