Regulations of the new female category

In the standings of the World Championship in HMB Battle of the Nations a new category appeared – female “5 vs 5″.

Countries can have one 5vs5 female national team, made from 5 to 8 fighters from the same citizenship or with permanent residency in the country.

Female fighters from different citizenships can form a mixed team of 5 to 8 fighters, which will be designated by all the countries represented by its members; they must agree on one coat of arms for the whole team. The exact composition of these teams, and the coat of arms they will wear, must be communicated to the BotN organizers at the latest one week before the draw.

There is one more innovation – Mixed teams do not belong to one country, as they are made of several fighters from different countries, united under the HMBIA flag. They are called as a joint team of several countries. E.g. Joint team of Denmark, Germany and Poland. When the communication support doesn’t allow to display long team names, the generic name “Joint team x” (“x” being a number, given upon registration) will be displayed instead.

Female fighters from the same citizenship can be split in several teams (national and/or mixed), with the agreement of the national team captain of their country; they still depend from him/her and can only take part in the championship upon selection/qualification, like any other fighter.

HMBIA News can`t wait to see these fights on the lists of the World Championship in HMB “Battle of the Nations”-2018 in Rome.
