On February 17, there was “Buhurt Open Wroclaw”. As HMBIA News found out, there were 14 teams from Poland and the Czech Republic. Female teams were represented as well. The tournament has been included to The Buhurt League system, which means that it will be held according to the standards and rules of historical medieval battles, which are common for all countries.

There were fights in the “5 vs 5″ buhurt category. And here are the results of this event:

1. “KSR 1″ Poland
2. “Prague Trolls” the Czech Republic
3. “Niepokorni Orzesze” Poland

1. Poland
2. Czech Republic

The “Buhurt Open Wroclaw” left only positive impressions. Krzysztof Olczak, a member of the “KSR 1″ team told us that there was a great tournament in a very beautiful place. According to Krzysztof, they had few hard combats, but “Prague Trolls” were the toughest opponents!

Krzysztof Olczak:
“Prague Trolls” came to win this tournament as they did with the Czech elimination last weekend. However, this time we had more luck! There were also tough fights with other Czech clubs and with the “Sierotki 1″ team. But our hard training and teamwork helped us a lot and we got the 1st place!”

Orgteam had good impressions too. Our reporter had a conversation with Alexander Titov – an official representative of the Bugurt League and HMBIA Marshal. He liked the event and, of course, its location.

Alexander Titov:
“This tournament was very good. I liked it and, of course, it was held in an awesome place – a historic monument called “Centennial Hall”. There were a lot of teams and their fights were clear. I`m sure – teams that did not come to take part in this event will regret this.

Krzysztof Olczak also told us that there was a very good live-stream from the whole tournament, so everyone could appreciate this tournament at its true worth.

The final of forming the National team of Poland for HMB World Championship “Battle of the Nations”-2018 will be held in the city of Niepolomice next month.
