Training in armor (in HMB sport) is an important stage of preparation for tournaments. How often should a fighter train wearing armor? Well, opinions differ. Experienced fighters say it should be done one or two times a month. However, they all agree that a fighter shouldn’t be too zealous here, i.e. it’s not a good idea to do squatting, push-ups, pull-ups and running wearing armor, as it’s very bad for ligaments and joints, it can be harmful for person’s health.
When there are no frequent trips to tournaments, experienced fighters recommend to put on armor once in two weeks for the body to stay fit. You can move around, or even have a sparring, but not more than that!
