As everybody in HMB movement knows, Spanish Barcelona will hold HMB World Championship “Battle of the Nations” this year. HMBIA News could not wait to speak to Spanish captain that lives in this city about it. We asked Cristian Bernal, captain of the National team of Spain for a little interview and he found time for it.

Cristian Bernal: “Having “Battle of the Nations”-2017 in Barcelona is especially important at a personal level because it will actually be the first official competition I have fought in my home city. There are two HMB clubs in Barcelona. The sport exists here in our country, but there were never tournaments held in Barcelona, so it’s big news for all of us. At a national and even international level, it’s a big step forward to hold a World Championship here, it will bring a lot of attention to the sport as Barcelona is a very popular and influential city. On the other side, we have a big responsibility as Spain has to give it’s 200% on the list to show what we can do as we’ll all be in the spotlight”.

HMBIA News is sure that the HMB World Championship “Battle of the Nations” – 2017 and the beautiful city of Barcelona will take its place in HMB history and in hearts of participants.
