Battle of the Nations 2017 will take only three days for the first time in history. Those are going to be the most intensive fighting days of the year, taking into account numbers of participants at BotN. Just remember, in 2016 we had 59 teams in “5 vs 5” and almost 100 combatants in different duel categories. Add to this women’s “3 vs 3” and royal category “21 vs 21” – and you’ll get an unprecedented number of fights. This is why we love Battle of the Nations – there is nothing close to this in the world.
In 2016 the championship took five full days, so how are we going to make it in three? Well, that’s an ambitious goal, and we all will need to work hard in order to run it strictly according to schedule.
In 2017 there will be lots of new features at BotN, the most remarkable with no doubt is new format of duel categories. For the first time we will have not 2, not 4, but 10 categories in duels both for women and men. So the main difference in the schedule will be simultaneous fights in duels and buhurts on different lists for all three days. Also, almost all duel fights will be on two different lists simultaneously. Yes, you counted that right, there will be at least three lists. Thus teams should prepare accordingly.
Will the buhurts go on two lists simultaneously? We will answer this question closer to the official draw, when all teams will submit their applications.
There are many news in future, but with no doubts we can say – Battle of the Nations 2017 is going to be very interesting.
Cheers,
