It’s only January 2017, but the organizational work on Championship of the world in HMB “Battle of the Nations” – 2017 has been going for quite some time. This year, the battle for main awards is expected to be really serious.

It is hard to not consider the fact, that every year HMB sport becomes more and more popular and the number of tournaments all around the globe increases. Therefore – the number of fighter and their level of training also grow.

More and more tournaments achieve the international status thanks to participation of the teams from various countries. The fighters are always eager to take part in as much tournaments as possible to increase their level, get the fighting experience and meet new people. There are seminars being conducted by more experienced fighters, which also provides for the advance in skill level of the participants of the movement.

Let us notice that HMB sport among women is on the stage of active development – this is expressed by the fact, that in 2016 a new female category was added – halberd duel. In 2016, the representatives of the female national team of Russia were not feeling that confident on the pedestal. Right now, the sportswomen of Germany, Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Italy etc. are chasing them. Expectedly, the female battles of 2017 will be absolutely spectacular!

Now, we are expecting a very important stage to take place in the HMB sport. Soon, in the participating countries, qualifying tournaments will start taking place, to form National teams for participation the Championship of the world in HMB “Battle of the Nations” – 2017.
