Austria will participate in the HMB World Championship Battle of the Nations not for the first time. Captain Heinrich Stefan WURZIAN is a well known person in the HMB community and he knows the real deal. So, he has very realistic expectations for the upcoming event!

But let’s start from the very beginning. This year Austria will be represented by only 4 fighters. They are very skilled duelists and they are planning to take part in the Sword and Shield, Sword and Buckler and Longsword male categories.

Also 2 of them will participate in the WMFC ProFights, up to 75kg and 85 – 95kg categories.

Heinrich Stefan WURZIAN is a European duel fighter who prefers to fight in Sword and Shield category. He is proud that famous champion Alexey PETRIK is his trainer. Heinrich confessed that he is very much looking forward to fight against Alexey at the Championship. This fight will be interesting!

Luca SCHICHO, another member of the Austrian National team also wants to face a special fighter in the Profight competition – he is looking forward to a rematch against Vyacheslav Levakov (Russia).

But you may ask about the captain`s expectations and how realistic they are? You can judge for yourself!

Heinrich Stefan Wurzian:
“Well – we have to dream big and shoot for the stars. Of course I want to win. But realistically talking – a good score will be fine”

That’s quite a realistic perspective, isn’t it? Lets wish this team good fights and good score!
