The level of mastery and discipline of the World Championship in HMB “Battle of the Nations” participants has grown significantly this year as it was told by HMBIA Marshal Ali Askerov. He also noted that the culture of sports has grown.

Ali Askerov:
“The level of discipline among the fighters has increased in comparison with the last year – the fighters go out on time, dress up quickly, go out in the lists faster as well. The athletes demonstrate respect and understanding about the decisions of the Marshal Board working in the lists. The culture of sports has grown a lot”.

In addition, Askerov noted the progress of the HMB athletes in dueling categories.

“In the “Sword and Shield” category the skills of the fighters increased, and many athletes demonstrated interesting fights. In the “Longsword” category fighters from Argentina and Mexico have shown much better results. In general, the participants showed a high growth over the past year. They’ve trained hard, gained experience – it was very exciting to watch the fights”.

During the Championship fighters expressed support and acceptance with the Marshals’ actions. We’ve already used to the atmosphere of friendship, respect and sport competition that take place on the most expected HMB tournament of the year – the World Championship in HMB “Battle of the Nations”.
