The national team of Sweden had its debut in Santa Severa Castle at BotN 2018. Robin Lundström, a fighter and Vice-captain of the team, remembers everything like it was yesterday. 

“It was the best and hardest fighting I had. Almost the same experience I had participating in the Dynamo Cup the year before. We won against Serbia 2 team, and even won 1 round against UK 3 team. The result was pretty good for a first time team! 

We also got to fight against team Ukraine 1 and that was amazing – they are great fighters and really nice people who are happy to teach you to get better in the list”.

The HMB World Championship Battle of the Nations 2018 gave the Sweden HMB pioneers necessary experience and inspiration not to stop in their improvement and HMB sport development. The HMB fire in Robin’s heart still burning and he already has certain expectations for BotN 2021:
“For the next BotN I’m hoping we will surprise people and do a lot better as a team!”
