Legionnaires in National Teams. The question is settled!

Legionnaires issue was one of the most actively disputed at the HMBIA summit held in Prague.

Summit participants could vote for several options to solve the issue, in particular:

1. Allow team membership to fighters with citizenship or permanent residentship of the country;

2. Allow team membership to fighters with citizenship of the country;

3. Allow team membership to fighters with citizenship of the country, as well as to those who have a permanent residentship. (The number of fighters having a permanent residentship shall not exceed 20% of the total number of National Team’s fighters).

The vast majority of those present at the summit voted for the first option. Thus, a fighter with citizenship or permanent residentship of the country can become a member of the National Team and represent their country at the World Championship in HMB “Battle of the Nations”, and the number of men with a permanent residentship is not limited.

Also, participants of the Prague summit decided on the question concerning the minimum number of people in the National Team. It was decided by the majority of votes that every National Team should have at least five fighters, and participation in the “5 vs 5″ category is compulsory for every Team.
