The next stage of selection to the National team of Russia has come to the end. The regional HMB tournament of the 1st league called “Siberian foothold” took place on the 13th of January, 2018 in Novosibirsk (Russia). The tournament has been included to The Buhurt League system, which means that it will be held according to the standards and rules of historical medieval battles, which are common for all countries. According to the representative of the organizing committee of the tournament Anastasia Pankova, during the tournament there were some unexpectable situations and, in general, everything went well. But there is always something to strive for.

Anastasia also told us that the main accent of the festival, of course, was done on sports, but everyone could find entertainment to their liking.

Anastasia Pankova:
“As for the festival as a whole, this year we decided to give up the main direction of the sport and invited the Modern sword fighting Federation to form one of the locations to attract the attention of the parents, because most of the young athletes will come to HMB from there.”
