In the end of January we saw the first edition of the LAON au béhourd tournament. The event was given Challenger status in the Buhurt League system. There were 5 vs 5 buhurts and profights. More than 140 fighters from Russia, Ukraine, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom France and Monaco were expected; an impressive 125 for 5 vs 5 and 16 for profights.

The official results of the LAON au béhourd tournament:
1-st place: Partizan, club: Bern. Russia
2-nd place: Ayna Bera. Ukraine
3-rd place: White Company, club: White Company. United Kingdom.

Profights results:
1 – Volodymyr Nechiporenko (Ayna Bera. Ukraine)
2 – Vassyl Nazarov ( Ayna Bera. Ukraine )
3 – Pavel Chauchenka ( Aquila Sequania. France)

Fabien Garreau, member of the organization team, mentioned that there was no surprise in finals, the podium of 5 vs 5 was expected: “Even though the fights were of a great intensity, Partizan once again proved their domination!”

According to monsieur Garreau, all teams showed a great level of fighting and all the fights were intense and spectacular. We thank the French federation of béhourd, Au fil du bois company and Remparts medieval manufactory for such a great event.
