Last week representatives of National Federations were solving a very important issue – who will occupy the position of HMBIA Vice-President. In the end, it was decided to support the candidacy of Gavin Stewart – the head of the Development Committee.

This morning Gavin Stewart found out about his new position. HMBIA News congratulated him. This is the next stage of work for him and he told us a little about it.

Gavin Stewart:
“This morning I received the news that I had been elected as the Vice-President of HMBIA, and I couldn’t be happier. January marked four years since I joined the Development Committee, and although that work is ongoing, I am ready to take my journey to the next stage and face upcoming projects and challenges”.

Also Gavin said that he is ready to cooperate with the President of HMBIA Edouard Eme for the improvement of HMB sport, but noticed that it is doesn’t depend on just two people – everyone has to fulfil their role for successful results.

Gavin Stewart:
“President Edouard Eme has already started his work, and his professionalism and enthusiasm are exactly what the movement needs; he is forward-thinking and has a clear vision for both the short-term and long-term plans for HMB, and I strongly believe we will have a solid working relationship. However, the success of these plans doesn’t depend on just two people, it takes an entire team to bring HMB to the next level – having already worked with these members, I have no doubt in my mind that HMBIA has the finest team of individuals it could hope for. We will identify our strengths and delegate tasks to get the best out of everyone involved”.

Mr. Stewart noticed that its not time to celebrate – its time to work!

Gavin Stewart:
“For the moment I can be satisfied, but this is where the work starts. I received incredible support throughout this election, so now it’s time to get results and show these people what they voted for. For now, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all those who supported me, but it’s back to work for me!”

HMBIA News thanks Vice President of HMBIA Gavin Stewart for the interview and wishes him success in all his affairs.
