Tonucci, Italy: “…I’m really proud of the results we’ve achieved”

29th October 2016 fighters from 4 countries gathered in Urbino (Italy) to take part in WMFC First Class Tournament “Torneo del Montefeltro “Ardet ut Feriat”.

 

HMBIA News asked main technical responsible of the tournament, representative of WMFC Italy, captain of the “Feltrio” HMB-club Gabriele Tonucci (Italy) to tell us the results of the tournament.

 

Gabriele Tonucci:

“Following some requests by the participants, the organization staff decided to have 3 “group fights” in first class category (in accordance with the weight category) and 2 fights in Profight League. All fights were held in accordance with the international rules issued by the WMFC organization”.

2nd Pasha Truelove UK – 73 kg

4th Tarik Vann AUS – 75 kg

GROUP “B”

1st Milo Canino ITA – 90 kg
2nd Lorenzo Toffali ITA – 85 kg
3rd Giulio Castruccio ITA – 84kg
4th Mattia Santin ITA – 80kg

GROUP “C”

1st Sergei Kuritsyn RUS – 105kg
2nd Vitaly Tkachenko UKR – 107kg
3rd Davide Pagiaro ITA – 105kg
4th Luca Peinetti ITA – 102 kg

 

PROFIGHT CATEGORY FIGHTS:

Gabriele Tonucci also drew attention to the fact that there were international jury in the tournament.

“As such event took place for the first time in Italy, I’m really proud of the results that we’ve achieved, I’m proud of my Club and I’m glad that fighters from other countries participated”.
