International Tournament of Chivalry «ITOC» -2016 is a big HMB-event, so HMBIA News decided to find out some more participants’ impressions, as such information would be interesting and useful for both our followers and organizers of the tournaments. We interviewed a well-known American fighter of “Ursus” HMB-club (USA) – David Dixon.
“It was excellent! The organization of the tournament was top notch. Seeing fighters from many different nations and from all around the USA was awesome. ITOC made history for the USA in having the most fighters at a USA event and the most number of countries at a USA event. HMB USA really showed how a great USA tournament could look like and I think everyone had a great time. I know I did! I can’t give enough praise to the team of people that worked so hard for this event to turn out successfully!”
Participation in big HMB-events is always a great time for every fighter. Especially when the friendly atmosphere prevails and everyone is in good shape.
“Personally, I try to stay prepared for the tournaments throughout the year… I train all year long because tournaments could take place every year with an unpredictable frequency… as a club we have been preparing for the ITOC since after the HMB World championship “Battle of the Nations”- 2016. This was a major event for us and since club “Ursus” has been in a state of rebuilding lately, it was a good occasion for us to come together and show what we are capable of. I fought in the “5vs5″ nomination. All in all, the event was great, we will take part in next ITOC for sure!”
Mr. Dixon also noticed another important fact about the «ITOC» -2016.
“I was also very impressed with the number of women fighters and the quality of the women league fights, they performed really well! My wife fought her first melee event at IToC this year and she had a great time!”
As we can see, International Tournament of Chivalry «ITOC» -2016 left good impressions and we hope that the level of this tournament will grow from year to year! HMBIA News would like to thank David Dixon for the interview and Tim Edward Jerry Gaensler-Debs for the photos!
