HMB sport become more and more popular in Chile. So “Batallón Draconia” HMB Club desided to create a special trainings sessions of ladies who wants to try HMB sport. Christian Andrés Toro Berríos, Capitain of the national team told HMBIA News about it:
“Since the middle of the last year 2017, Karla “Loba” Gatica and the Batallón Draconia designed and realize a call to participate of days of training just for women, with a time and a place appointed specifically for the ladies who want to learn and participate in HMB”.

According to Chilean Captain, they started this project with a publicitary approach to the sporting aspect of the Medieval Combat. It worked great because in the first day 34 ladies of different ages came to take part in it. It is an active project – today, after some months they still make training sessions with 15 or 20 ladies. In this rest, this project has its own name – “Female Infantry” or “Academy” of the “Batallón Draconia”.

As HMBIA News found out, Karla starts to form female part of the National Team with Female Duelists and her Buhurt Team. She makes different activities as sparrings in Soft format, War Games, and others.

Our editorial office wish to Karla “Loba” Gatica success in her fights and training process with other Female Fighters as well. So, we can’t wait to see their fights on the list of HMB World Championship “Battle of the Nations” – 2018 in Rome.
