So, here are the results of the tournament in “5 vs 5″ category:
1 – “Iron Phoenix” (Seattle, Washington)
2 – “Ordo Draconis” (San Diego, California)
3 – “Ursus” (San Jose, California).
Also, the captain of the National team of the USA, Harvey Palmer, was pleased with the level of fighting in the royal “21 vs 21″ and female categories, as he made the final selection for those teams.
Mark Jackson told about his impressions after the tournament:
“The Company of The Gauntlet and Rose is very grateful to HMBIA, the Buhurt League, HMB USA, the American Medieval Combat Association, and the Sonora Celtic Faire for their cooperation and support in a very successful tournament. We would like to especially thank Eduardo Miauro and Roxana Ruiz de Miauro, who traveled from Argentina to serve as our Knight Marshal. They did a great job!”
Roxana and Eduardo were very helpful in providing training and guidance to several marshal volunteers, who assisted them. Furthermore, Roxana has her first experience as a Knight Marshal and was pleased about it.
Roxana E. Ruiz de Miauro:
“The Tournament was well organized. The organizer was alert to our requirements. Captains and fighters accepted my orders with respect. The Tournament was developed with good relations and fair play. And the most important thing is that there was not any injury”.
According to the organizational team, the schedule was smoothly managed and the tournament was greatly enjoyed by all fighters and spectators. Moreover, Mark Jackson told us that this was perhaps the largest number of spectators attending an HMB Tournament in the USA.
Our congratulations to the winners, and our editorial office wish the National team of the USA to have great fights on the lists of the World Championship in HMB “Battle of the Nations”-2018.
